Getting started with Memberships
Set up recurring membership plans and automatic billing with UPI AutoPay.
Create a membership
Go to Dashboard › Memberships › New. Name it, set the first plan (for example Monthly, ₹1,500), and open the editor.
Plans
Add plans such as Senior, Junior, Family, or Student. Each plan has a price, an interval (day, week, month, or year, with a count such as every 3 months), an optional free trial, capacity, and a close date. Hide a plan to stop new signups without affecting current members.
A plan's price and billing cycle lock once the first member joins, so nobody's price changes unexpectedly. To offer a new price, add a new plan and turn off Visible during checkout on the old one. Current members stay on the plan they joined.
Products at checkout
Open Products in the membership editor to offer extras such as a kit bag, a jersey or a locker key. Add an existing product or create one there with a name and price; sizes, stock and checkout questions are set under Dashboard › Orders › Products. Players choose add-ons when they subscribe. Add-ons are paid once, with the first payment, and never renew. Each purchase appears as an order linked to the membership.
How billing works
When a member subscribes they pay the first period and set up a UPI AutoPay mandate or save a card. ArenOS bills the next period automatically. If a payment fails, ArenOS retries and sends the member a WhatsApp and email reminder with a pay link. You see every member as Active, Past due, Paused, or Cancelled.
Benefits and rules
Describe what the membership includes. Choose whether one person can hold more than one plan, whether coupons apply, whether global questions are asked, and which waivers must be signed.
When coupons are allowed, players can enter a code made for Memberships under Coupons. The discount applies to the first payment only; renewals charge the plan price. Coupons aren't offered on plans with a free trial, because nothing is charged up front.
Member priority
Give members early access or member-only prices on registration and booking pages. Members get a card with a QR code for check-in.
Managing members
The Memberships list shows every subscription. Record an offline payment, pause, cancel, refund, or change a member's plan. Export at any time.
Fees
Memberships are free to set up. The platform fee on each payment is 3% on Free, 2.5% on Plus, 2% on Pro, and 1% on Max, plus Razorpay's gateway charge.
