Check-in and attendance

Record arrivals for activities, memberships, and bookings, then review attendance history.

What appears on the Check-in page

Go to Dashboard › Check-in.

  • Today lists activities that meet today and booked times happening today.
  • Membership check-in lists memberships with current members. Start a new check-in each time the membership meets, and pick the date if it isn't today.
  • Other activities lets you check in any activity with active registrations on a date you choose.
  • In progress and Recently completed hold the check-ins you've started.

Who is on the roster

Starting a check-in takes a snapshot of who is expected:

  • An activity lists its active registrations.
  • A membership lists its active members, plus members whose last payment failed. They're marked Payment failed so you can follow up at the gate.
  • A booked time lists every active booking for that time. Each booked time gets its own check-in.

People who become eligible after you start appear under New since check-in started. Use Add to check-in to put them on the roster.

Check people in

Tap Check in for the fastest arrival workflow. Use Change when you need another status (Checked in, Late, Did not attend or Excused) or a private note. Only managers see notes.

Use Scan passes to scan the QR code on a player's receipt, member pass or booking with your camera. With a handheld scanner, open Using a handheld scanner? and scan or paste the pass code. A pass from another activity, membership, booking time or organization is rejected, and a pass that's already marked tells you its status instead of counting twice.

Several staff can work the same check-in at once. Totals and statuses update across devices.

Finish

Finish check-in marks everyone still Not marked as Did not attend. You can still correct a status afterwards, but you must choose a final status. A check-in where nobody has been marked can be deleted.

Attendance history

Check-in › Attendance covers the last 90 days by default. Filter by type (activity, membership or booking), by source, status, participant or account holder. Late counts as attended; rates leave out excused and not-marked entries. Print gives a parent-ready page without manager notes, and Download CSV includes every column.

Each registration and membership page in the dashboard also lists that person's attendance.

Who can check people in?

Owners, managers, and staff with the Registration helper role.
